1 - On race day, control of the Wing is regulated by race central (for want of a better word)
2 - If a driver tries to open it else where, then it's noted by RC and penalty given against the driver...also the wing does not work
3 - RC use software to prevent the wing opening or being used elsewhere.
Now from the looks of things and by what is being said by the commentary team, is that Ferrari were having technical issues with the DRS wing system mainly software related However the release of the wing being controled by RC suggets the problem could be equally at the FIA end as it is with Ferrari's.
Now i'm not technically minded enough to say it's easy to trace...anyone who has done some basic programing can testify that tracing an error could take a while, so maye....just maybe the FIA can't take action untill the know the full extent. Not everything is a conspiracy and not everything the FIA does is anti other teams and pro Ferrari, no matter how much you would like it to be.
Shinty - Run around waving a stick in public, you'll get arrested. Do it on a bit of grass with 23 like-minded individuals and you can call it a sport and whack the living daylights out of each other.
Some good photos again from the usual suspects on this thread. Is a joy sometimes just to go back at the start and flick through. Looking to draw inspiration and move away from sport and try something different (sport will always be the main draw for me though)
= Mackie The Staggie making a competitive return to local football. Been in training for the past few weeks and slowly getting back into the swing of things, and had a few games where I performed well enough although on the losing side for all but 1 of our 5 pre-season games.
This car is currently clamped in Glasgow, and was posted up in a simaler thread on a football forum I'm on. Recently another poster passed the car and found this....
In a City where you are more likely to be asked about what religion are you and when replay 'Atheist' you are then asked "Aye, but are you a Catholic Atheist or a Protestant Atheist" . Someone was offended and went to the trouble to wash the swear word off.
For some reason when I first start up iRacing, the pedals don't seem to be calibrated correctly and when I touch the brakes slightly the wheels fully lock, however after some full depress and release's this irons it's self off. So I always take part in warm-up...but no further than the length of the pit lane, just so I can get some speed then pump the brakes.
It could be something I've unchecked or not done correctly in settings, but I got into the habit now and its no my set routine when I race (which I'll have to re-subscribe to do so...anyone tell me if the Celtic league has started yet or in preparation, enjoyed it last year)
Many thanks, used the blower method first and got most of the dust bunnies away, still a small bit of stubborn dust hanging around so used the second method and now, fully clean and ready to roll.
May good blessings bestow your lamas (found my sim city disk and have been playing it a bit too much I think)
Dario with another nice convincing win, it's all good . Although I think the driver of the race falls to the lassie in 4th place, Simona de Silvestro, who was quick enough to not use any of her 'Push To Pass' until the final 7/8 laps.
I actually prefer the look of the Dallara Indy Car to the F1 cars, especially TK's and Sato's Lotus colour scheme, suits the car imo. The big one (Indy 500) is at the end of May, will be booking the following Monday off no doubt.
The price of petrol/diesel is a joke, petrol is around 136.8p with diesel sitting around 144.9p. But it's worse the further north and I've seen prices of 142.xx for petrol and 153.xx for diesel around Thurso/Wick....I'll hate to think what it is like on the Orkney and Shetland Isles.
Nothing changes, and overall I don't think anyone comes out of this budget well.
Ok, despite the fact that on British TV you could have/can watch shows such as The Wire/Dexter/6 Feet Under/Mad Men/Nurse Jackie/Harry Hills TV Burp/Mastercheif etc etc....
...you think the best show is a lazy arsed run of the mill clip show showing the same clips that are sharred via emails and forums....
Ok, took some photos and I found the dreaded 'dust bunnies' are sitting on my sensor.......ARSE
This is my first time I'm going to attempt to clean my sensor (camera almost 3 years old, suppose it's needed) so obviously bricking it just now. Any advice/tip/things to watch out for?
Clarkson takes extra caution when driving up to Scotland after his latest rant at the Scots *Mackie The Staggie cocks his sniper riffle and acquires his target in his sights....*
Since the accident which resulted in the earplug becoming lodged in Webbers ears, he has to go to extreme measures to tune into the teams pit radio frequency
